Dr. Periago is an orthodontist. Orthodontists are doctors who begin as dentists. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists.
To practice orthodontics, Dr. Periago spent 10 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and two years of orthodontics residency). She spent two years as an orthodontic student learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.
As an Invisalign® Preferred Provider, Dr. Periago has extensive experience using Invisalign to successfully straighten smiles. She can achieve stunning results, even if your case is too complex for at-home aligners or less experienced providers.
Lastly, as a mom herself, Dr. Periago has the compassionate care your child needs to feel comfortable and confident.
