Corydon braces

Traditional braces continue to steal the show when it comes to efficient treatment of just about any orthodontic problem. Plus, they’re often more affordable than other options because they close gaps and align teeth quickly without some of the technology that other treatment options require to achieve the same results. With this treatment method, ceramic or metal brackets are attached to your teeth. The brackets are then connected by wires and tiny elastics or rubber bands. Regular adjustments with Dr. Periago will help these components apply gentle pressure to your teeth to gradually move them into their new and improved positions.

Corydon braces are an excellent choice for correcting several tooth issues, both simple and complex.

Corydon Invisalign®

The Corydon Invisalign system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move the teeth into alignment instead of brackets and bands. This option is incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists making it the top alternative to traditional braces.

Invisalign aligners will fit securely over your teeth and are made out of comfortable plastic that fits snugly over your teeth. The trays are virtually invisible, so no one will have to know you’re straightening your teeth unless you want them to. The trays are virtually invisible and are usually switched out every 1-2 weeks for the next in the series to keep the teeth moving in the right direction! Aligners must be worn 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment in order for them to do their job. If you don’t wear your aligners as directed you might negatively impact your results, and make your orthodontic treatment process longer.

Invisalign is most successful when used to correct many of the most common orthodontic issues. For certain complex cases, Invisalign may not be a very good option. A free consultation with Periago Orthodontics will be able to help determine your eligibility for Invisalign.
